Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup mirin
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Green onions, sliced

Instructions

    Mix soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger in a bowl

    Reserve half the sauce for serving

    Marinate salmon in remaining sauce for 30 minutes

    Preheat grill to medium-high heat

    Grill salmon skin-side down for 6-7 minutes

    Flip and grill for another 4-5 minutes until cooked through

    Brush with reserved sauce and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions
